IF basement sale, but that won't be happening for a while. A bunch of consignment stores (I suppose jscl meant evagentry consignment), and sometimes Century 21. For new stuff, IF, Saks and Jeffrey (if you can stomach walking into the latter two).

Doesn't Opening Ceremony have CDG also? I know they have some Play stuff for men.

I was just at Tokio7 about 2 weeks ago. I didn't find much of anything there this time, it's been pretty well picked thru. I did find a nice Hedi-era Dior sweater for $100

well it answered your question - they don't carry CDG.

can anyone recommend a good tailor who would be capable of shortening the sleeve of a rick trench from the shoulder?

Big man Zam Barrett. I know he's busy these days with collections, and I don't see his sticky anymore, but if you're lucky he might have the time. I highly recommend him .

it certainly seems that this would be the ideal choice, but his alteration service is no more as of the first of this year...

i am unsure. i didnt see them when i was walking around soho but i had a very limited knowledge of who has what. i do know they are available at forwardforward for $30 cheaper than at oki ni. if you look through the silent collection there's a few different angles of them as well.

I also posted this in the eye wear thread, so I hope it's okay it's here also:

I'll be in New York for a week from May 16th, and I'm looking to buy a pair of glasses as they're way cheaper than in Denmark. Can someone recommend a good place to find a decent pair? I'm a pretty regular minus 1,5 on both eyes and if possible I'd like to get a frame and lenses for less than $400. I don't need anything fancy and if someone could point my in the right direction I'd be very thankful.
