Ok, that's what I thought too (I should know better, since we sell them!). Thanks.

"Saw" Carl Cox at Florida 135 in Fraga Spain around 1999. Biggest nightclub, village inside a warehouse, I've ever been to.

Remember sleeping 18 hours straight after that two day insanity.

for someone who is so keen on impressing us with having an impeccable taste in music, you sure seem to have shit taste in club music, if carl cox is what gets you excited...

I was a teenager at the time, I didn't know shit then. I thought going to Ibiza and seeing DJ Pippi at Pacha was cool.

i thought the name of this thread was musicians? playing pre-recorded music from ur computer is really not the same as making music... maybe what u guys are talking about is guys pumping their fist on stage while i was on drugs in a tent/desert/club w/ sz style?

Let's say that electronic artists release some astounding records, but the live experience is mostly pushing knobs with added visuals, that can barely replace the energy or intimacy of people with instruments. Depending on the artist of course.

I guess Depeche Mode before SOFAD were not musicians either!

Depeche Mode are a pop band, not an electronic solo artist. I guess upsilonkng was talking about Carl Cox, not Andy Stott, Fennesz, Perc or whoever.

I agree with upsilonkng, clubs nowadays, here in Europe, are mostly "pushing knobs with added visuals".

if that's ur level of understanding of what good dj's do, then it's not worth my time to discuss it with u.
