evening (depending on where you are) fellow sz'ers, it's been a week since i lost my uncle to cancer ... he was given 3-5 years and died 12 weeks later, madness, but hey, these things happen *pours out a little whiskey in his memory*

Sorry to hear about that too, Faust. 31 years old? That fucking sucks.

My uncle's death was due, in part, to the medication that they gave him. As I said, he was given 3-5 years max. but then he was offered medication that had a 40% success rate in completely clearing him of the cancer. I guess the remaining 60% was set aside to annihilating his organs because after 12 weeks, he just ceased functioning.
