    cubs

sup anyone in chicago wanna go to tha cubs vs mets game next tues may 24 . i got an extra tick im talkin good ass seats , bullpen on the mets side , can harass them lousy mets . its a nite game also the best kind , starts at like 7pm . these are like $160 tickets , will let u have it for free , only catch is u have to sit with me and a friend and u will be the gofer boy which means walkin up to get the hotdogs and drinks and flaggin the guy who walks around sellin candy to our location . nah just kiddin itll be fun trust me

usually after the game we walk over to friends crib who lives like a block and a half away from wrigley for snacky snacks . dependin on how good or bad the game is we either stay till th eend or leave after the 7th inning to avoid the crowds

^Can that post go in the "Best of" thread?

Also, I'd totally go if I were in Chicago. I've never been before and that actually sounds like fun.

Recently "challenged" to tie a bowtie...blanked out and couldn't knot it. Kind of a surreal moment. I'm not sure if I know who I am anymore...it was a strange feeling.

Man I am dissapointed in you!
if that were me, i would be joyous!...........if average lifespan is 70 years old, I am halfway there, my next 35 years will be spent doing two things:

          1. unlearning a lot of these ridiculous things i was taught i had to learn in order to be someone..................Blazing new trails in establishing who i really am.........

Cheers to forgetting how to tie a bowtie!!!!!!!

I've been trying to do that for the past year or so. I just can't see the point of all this prescriptivism.

Zam: Cheers to that! I just figured it would be second nature..something committed to muscle memory. Memory doesn't seem to be working for me nowadays though. I'll chalk it up as a benefit of senility.

i guess these guys took more than your ideas eh? u may be on a bad streak. sorry to hear it man. i been there too and its actually a little scarier than you think its gonna be. and trust me the disappointment only continues if u attempt to file a police report and expect any help.

^Thanks CJ. The cops were actually pretty nice and thorough but they didn't seem too confident about the case. The past few months have been pretty shitty but I'm trying to make the best out of it. Its proving a bit difficult. ha.

cjbreed speaks the truth. somehow the police force of anywhere manages to be the epicenter of the incompetent, always.

selling gets epic by the day.............

Saw a listing for a pair of boots where the seller said "Worn 30 times"...........

I mean, I can understand owning a relatively new pair, where you can do a mental check of wearing 3 or 4 times, but after the fourth......................can you really remember that much?
