quick answer: $500 or less. that's what grad students in group shows were selling pictures for.

i personally don't think pictures less than $2,000 is worth selling. there are a lot of variables involved, like the gallery's commission, editioning, your expenses in printing, mounting, framing...

the size just adds more to the expense of producing the print and transporting it. bigger is just bigger, but not always priced more than a smaller print..
