You're dead right, Mortal. Actually that could be one of my »best nights«, Monday the 20th of March in the year 2000. My mathematics class went to see this new hyped motion picture American Beauty depicting middle-aged man falling in love with younger girl – that kind of stupidity, I reckoned. I wasn't at all interested in film and went only to reduce maths nerdity and to socialize good-willingly.

I was stunned! Others noticed me leaning forward, strangely attracted to this screen figuring my life. How was this possible? How could my experiences like this be formulated to me, for me?

I went to the theatre five times, once with my girlfriend, cried a river down her shoulder.

I discovered cinema, my dearest passion ever since. I still see American Beauty once a year, when I feel sad, to heal. It's seismic to my soul.

First synth was a nord modular. Came with a little book on how to build sounds, lots more fun than doing homework :)
