the big pink and girls have been my most repeated listens lately.

np: former ghosts - fleurs leak

i like james stewart best when he's crooning through a dense fog of dissonant noise. been enjoying this a lot.

Great show that I wished I followed more. I will HULU it later. Funny you mention TV shows. For some reason, if I watch an old rerun of a Christmas episode of Cosby or some other 80"s sitcom in July, I will feel a dash of spirit....but if I watch these during the holidays....eh, nothing much. But this discussion is off thread topic and I don't want to get yelled at, sooooo:

Burial is killing me right now. Every song he produces is unique. Absolute greatness.

Right now listening to the new album by Vitalic. Can't decide if I like it better, or less than Ok Cowboy. Good album though.

                    I currently enjoy listening to
Bill Callahan - Sometimes I Wish I Were An Eagle
                    and
William Fitzsimmons - The Sparrow And The Crow

... both are rather calm (is that the right word when it comes to music?), dreamy and sometimes melancholical albums. I don't like talking in genres but it's like some Singer / Songwriter stuff. The second one sometimes reminds me of Sufjan Stevens with a bit less folk elements.

                    Recommended songs:
Bill Callahan - Too Many Birds (...but the whole album is great)
William F - Further From You
I have dreams of orca whales and owls
But I wake up in fear

I recently discovered Sonic Nurse, it's quite the album i was looking for, the perfect mix of pop and noisy experimental sound.

After listening to the entire discography, can't believe these guys aren't bigger than they are.

That Bill Callahan album is great. He's a product of the same sleepy MD suburb as me.

I've been listening to Pulp's A Different Class a whole lot again. "Sorted for E's and Wizz" captures a certain slice of youth culture so well...

Sunspots - Nine Inch Nails. One of the most underrated NIN songs.
