Saw Jesus and Mary Chain last night. Oooh man are they rusty. Timing was way off. The thing I've always loved about Jim's vocals was that it was emotionally connected with an air of indifference, if that makes any sense. He attempted to deliver, but it was all manufactured and forced. That coupled with a less than tight band made for a very poor performance. All this considered, it was still great to hear songs from Psychocandy and Darklands. It sparked up nostalgia and had me gliding down memory lane.</p>
Now listening to MSNBC in the background.

late response..Agreed Merz. The drummer's timing was all off. They need to get a new sound crew working the board and take a couple months to rehearse out a solid set. 8 years off the road is a longtime and their performance shows it. I believe that was Hope on Sometimes always. Funny, the highlight for me that night was BRMC. </p>
