Scriabin has some delicious moment of anger especially in his later piano works, start with Sonata 10.

Angry wasn't the best choice of words, I was thinking more along the lines of "xenakis style intensity". Nevertheless, I like Hersch alot.

I once went through an 6-ish-month long period where I listened only to Scriabin.

So I just saw Swans live 3 days ago at OFF Festival. My ears were still ringing yesterday. What happened there... I'm not entirely sure. I kind of feel like calling it best concert of my live would be a blasphemy. It was more of an actual spiritual experience combined with an actual amazingly strong high caused by the sonic waves. Amazing. And Gira is a motherfucking beast on stage.
