Probably one of the best Hitch films, especially the banter between Joe and Herbie about how one would off the other, and the famous dinner table speech

After watching, thought it should have won oscar for best foreign language but I'll save judgment till I watch Tsotsi

Saw this film twice in classes, can't wait to get my hands on micmacs a tire-larigot. Sucks to know how not much was picked up at toronto in terms of purchases and no one is buying independents. My teacher sent me an interesting article on it: http://blogs.indiewire.com/thompsono...rs_and_losers/

Downfall was a really good film.

Agreed, Was very well acted great colors and excellent suspense and tension despite the known outcome!

Just Watched MR FOE Jamie Bell is an excellent actor way surpassing his role in Billy Elliot. Well recommended.

Un Prophete (2009) and finally got around to watching The Great Escape which I've had on my hard drive forever. Un Prophete ruined my evening by being way too engaging (+subtitles) and kept me from getting any of my work done.

Saw again (i've seen this movie maybe more than 10 times in my life), Greenaway's The Belly of an Architect, a personal favourite that never ceases to amaze me, maybe not the stronger Greenaway movie but one of the few that you can love the character and not just the images. Also i'm a fan of Boullée's impossible architecture.

I watched Where The Wild Things Are last night. It's incredible. Spike Jonze was the perfect person to direct it. Visually amazing and a really great take on the book.

I've been trying to find this for a while and I guess it's very out of print and no one seems to have it. I think a friend of mine is going to burn me a copy though, looks so good!
