it's also worth mentioning that the exchange rate is much more favorable today than it was just 1-2 months ago. Also, keep in mind that a proxy won't be able to get you that -12% VAT since you have to be a non-EU resident and leaving the country.

...Also probably means that some merchandise is marked up to be eventually marked down. So 30% off is really the original asking price, but markdowns are always enticing.

To be more precisely: In Paris sales generally commence as from the 2nd week in January until Mid-February. It changes from year-to-year though.

i'm not aware of anyone who carries Volga Volga in Paris. l'eclaireur doesn't carry them...they used to but they won't any more. the Library does carry Volga Volga, but i only saw one piece last month (a pair of wide pants). The Archive in SF has the most in-store Volga Volga i've seen, and they had a good buy the last time i saw it. Maxfield's has it, i bought some from there before. Also check Eastern Market in Australia, they seem to have a lot as well. ok back to Rick.....
