Keep your eyes open, I scored that pair off ebay for $155 with the Barneys tags still on it for $860, I also picked up the short/pants at paris:texas at 85% off..so around $80

...if you wait, they will come

yeah, saw a pair of pants at paris:texas when I was in CPH last summer at like 70% off, but they were a bit "to much pants" for me, hah. can't think that I saw shorts there though.. but they had RO-socks

Their AW08 Rick stuff is coming in any day now, I'm pretty excited to see what they got, I love their buys. This seasons Ann Dem buy was perfection.

that's interesting...so the whole thing is one garment? I remember seeing plain shorts from RO on the racks...don't really wear shorts, but if it comes as a one piece i think that's quite versatile.

It's basically two separate garments that are sewn together at the waist band. They are super comfortable and the sweatpants bunch up really nice in your RO sneaks or a pair of boots.

                    Alteration

I just realized that the 2 sleeves of my RO leather jacket are not symmetrical in that one is larger/roomier than the other.

I emailed RO in Europe about this and asked if it was possible for me to send it to them to fix the problem (I bought my RO jacket from the NY store). They asked me to email them again because they were really busy at that time (about 3 weeks ago), which I did, and have not gotten a reply. My feel is that i can't rely on them to solve my problem.

Does anyone know of any good, dependable tailor(s) in NYC that might be up to altering my jacket? It's not that simple an alteration, and i'm afraid that a less experienced tailor will mess it up.

                    Thank you!

Its not a problem to tailor leather unless there are not too many details on the spot you want to modify. But i also would go for a experienced tailor...

I go to Chris French for drycleaning, but haven't gotten anything tailored by them. For tailoring, I use CDG NY's suggestion of Maurice Garment Care on University and 9th.

in mythic lore, chris french was able to retailor a pair of ccp pants from a size 52 to a size 48 and do it perfectly. epic status.
