I don't recall seeing the draped jacket, I'll have to take a closer look if I can find some time to go back, I was interested in seeing that piece in person also.

So, I don't recall any threads for Rick Owens' FW07 menswear line, nor do I recall seeing anything about him showing for FW08 menswear either. Exploder is one of my favorite collections from this season, and I wish I had the runway pics to refer to but I can't find them anywhere. Obviously he didn't do a show for Spring 08 either, but at least there are detailed photos. Does anyone know if he's showing and what the details are?

For the last few years it's only been showing on his website. He only has a traditional runway show for women but then mens is just looks posted on his website, no runway show.

Honestly, I thought it would be put on his website by now, I've been checking it every morning! :)

Thought this was pretty cool how he's putting a strap on the inside of the jackets to sling over your shoulder.

Thanks Cas. That strap detail is like what Helmut used to do (albeit double) so you could wear your jackets like a cape. Frankly, since he's been doing that strap with his drkshdw stuff, I've been trying to figure out ways to use it! Guess Rick found one.

Just spoke with the store in Paris, and they just got the showroom set up with the Fall season, so they won't have pictures til the end of the week at soonest, I was told. They were so helpful and sweet over the phone!

Actually I spoke with Lexi, because Barbara was with a customer. She assured me that the pieces I wanted from Exploder that were never available were scrambled over immediately, so I shouldn't feel bad about not having had any access to them. Which is reassuring, and makes one have that purchase frenzy at the same time...[:|]
