Monty - I had a closer look - I think you might be right.....however the guys at IF saw the pictures of the artist jacket and thought the classic was a different tweed.
I'll find out when it arrives early next week.

If they are the same I can exchange it.
Or somebody here can take it - PM me if you are interested.

Saw the new stuff at IF. Nice. I am dead in-between Small and Medium. Great.

i would say the color is about right. stop by IF while it's still in stock. it's fucking gorgeous..
it's a heavy-weight, burlappy tweed goodness with more pronounced wrinkling than the one in that picture. 5 buttons i believe but i wasn't counting. there's a long version of the tweed and a black version that's mid-weight..

The Tweed is indeed gorgeous. But considering my wardrobe, the Black would be my colour of choice.
Just posted a sizing issue in the sizing thread.

Since always, I've felt PH's female jackets/coats are much more gorgeous than the mens...seeing what i saw today proved me right again

Thanks thaiison - if monty is right and the classic blazer I ordered (should arrive today or tomorrow) is exactly the same tweed as the artist jacket, then one of them will be up for sale.....they are both size Medium

It's nice, but in my mind Harnden and leather really don't mix.
