I remember historical dramas in school, when we used to rent those costumes .

I mean no offense: that must have very literally been the gayest historical drama of all time, of which I would have gladly attended.

Re: Bernhard Willhelm S/S 09
good ol bernhard and his ever lasting fairy tale themes...
i am not sure.. but some of those looks rather seem ...well...like he was intentionally trying to make fun.. of himself? Packing a too muscular guy
into a girls dress?
And through their parting lids there came and went

Re: Bernhard Willhelm S/S 09
as far as i know they are actually close friends and she is wearing a lot of his stuff. And it suits her well... but then again...björk is björk... and well
most girls are not björk either... let alone most boys ;-)
I like some of those looks, from a fashion point of view. But I could never imagine wearing any of this stuff ( perhaps those black sandals),save...save for a performance of "the emperor's new clothes" or "King thrushbeard"..And through their parting lids there came and went

Re: Bernhard Willhelm S/S 09
i really dont like this collection. it is interesting, but in a strange and childish way. I could only imagine hime making fun of him self while doing this.. its not even high fashion its just... copying medieval wardrobe into our "modern" times..
i dont see any wearable piece exept some ot the shoes.. and even there i think it is overdone..
dont get me wrong, i like the idea of doing some medieval-ish stuff, but i like it more in the gothic/"dark"-way that can be found at some of n(n) or julius.. this is the wront way to work with this topic.
altough i have to admit that there may be some artisanal value in this collection, concerning the cut and the materials.
