Some Gareth things look nice on Why Lip, but too expensive for me.

I saw a blazer on eBay a month or two back, the one with the straps on the arms, I had it favourited 2 or 3 times. Price was $500, with a make offer. I hesitated each time, and then it went for $250. Gutted, and now looking for it :(

Apparently the RO NY store isn't going to be carrying any of the f/w Gareth stuff. Kind of sad. I had wanted to see some of the mens pieces in person just to get a better sense of them.

faust, i don't exactly know which one. It was in this thread, maybe second page.... or did i imagine that i posted in here It was a general comment, nothing negative. I quite like Gareth, and this collection, though quite "costumey", i found to be quite pleasant. I really would love to see it, but in Oz it is difficult I missed it in Osaka, there a bit early. Maybe if i get back to Japan this year i can spot some, finger crossed.

Dont know, It just dosen't feel cohesive, I liked the first one i saw, with the silver wrapped faces and the ponytails, could it be in 2006 or 2007. But i dont like his silhouettes...and the fabrics..And the mens line is horrible, it doesent feel modern to mee. I guess i just dont like when it gets "in your face" like that. And Roisin Murphy wearing that black and white dress didn't make it better..

well this is obviosly a matter of taste, so never mind...
