Played around with the new Rick cross body open messenger bag. Quite nice, only hesitation were the thin straps, I was concerned about them snapping, but I would probably only use it for travel, so probably fine.

Any other thoughts on a simple clean cross body bag?

I liked the previous, non-structured version of that bag. It seems like it would be awkward to carry now that it keeps its shape.

I very much like the cross-body bag though. Maybe I'm just into slouchy bags(?)

I like the shape and size is good as well. But the only downside is the strap been too narrow.

I just got this In Aisce bag and really love it. Very substantial and sleek. The straps flow and provide some movement. The leather is lush and the color is unique. I'm very pleased.

Castor, I prefer the M.A.+ one. It's quite light and every ounce counts these days for my poor back.

That's nice Faust. I've never had an MA+ bag, is there any issue with color transfer or is the leather finished to prevent that? Sort of concerned with these more raw finishes.
