Dij, I say if you can; try them on before you make a decision. The wide one looks great, but it looks uncomfortable and like awkward. imo the thinner one is a safer bet for both comfort and ease of styling (in the event you can't try it on first...) :/Comment

none of the stores in Melbourne stock the particular style of ring unfortunately. I like the chunky look of the 3 segment ring but I think the 2 segment ring looks cleaner in the way it is segmented. any thoughts?Comment

the price varies a bit from store to store however the 2 segment ring should be under $200 AUD and the 3 segment is under $300 AUD. still don't know which one to go for though

i dont think you can state whether the 2 or 3 segment ring is better without trying them on. Generally people with short fingers look stupid with thick rings on as it makes there hand look disproportional. Its really a question of which one would suit your hand rather than what looks better from an aesthetic point of view, so let your hand decide.Comment

only problem is I don't want to fly to Sydney just to try a couple of rings on. I'll probably go for the 3 segment ring, pending measurements from the store I'm ordering it from, as I'm after something fairly heavy that will stand out.
