none of the stores in Melbourne stock the particular style of ring unfortunately. I like the chunky look of the 3 segment ring but I think the 2 segment ring looks cleaner in the way it is segmented. any thoughts?

I wouldn't be surprised if they cave. They had several of that exact jacket, and just during the time I was in there saw several people walk in, look at it, ask if it was ever going on sale, be told no, and then say, ok, never buying it at that price.
