if i were u, and seeing as u have a limited wardrobe, i would go for something a bit more versatile - i think a nice pair of black wool pants with a slightly relaxed cut, would be a good way to begin building your wardrobe and will definitely work with combats, both tucked in and not.

the cargos imho would be less useful to u. save that for later. instead focus on solid useful pieces and use accessories and layering to vary your look.

on the other hand, if u LOVE the cargo's, buy them and wear the shit out of them every day without caring what others think.

I would say spend whatever money you have on a piece you really love (cargos for instance) and wear them the shit out of them. Forget what is versatile, or what will go well with x, or the "building a wardrobe" stuff, just buy and wear what you love

      my 2 cents

For what it's worth I found the laced sneakers to be tts, although a pain to break in. Big and long toe-box.

Darklands has a similar pair in reverse deer that look very nice if you aren't totally set on the black sole! :)

I swear it looks better in person...I think....needed something that works with button ups.

Yes or no??? keep or return :/

Sleeves are so long, longer than rick (literally covers my hands), torso is very boxy to my eyes.

First Ann leather piece, the quality to me feels so nice.
Apologies for the photo quality, the white balance on my SLR is fked.

                Thanks!

I'm not a fan of how it looks zipped up but it looks great on you open with that button down.

You are making fists in the first photo, though, haha... I have a few of her pieces where the sleeves hug down to my first knuckles.... It gives a totally different feeling-- more relaxed, I quite like it. Though with this jacket you can bunch up the sleeves also along the arm to give a different look, right? Play with the zippers... The torso is supposed to be boxy... You couldve probably sized down, but I'd keep it!

Thanks guys, I'm definitely on the fence still.

Umm I can't actually, even if I try to push the sleeves of the jacket up, due to it's weight it just drops right back down.

Yea it is a size medium, fits spot on for chest and shoulders though, not sure how a small would of favored, everything else well... is questionable? I think.

the length ratio of the body and the sleeves is a little awkward to me. i would try rolling the sleeves like bson suggested.

I dunno, whether or not the thread convinces you it looks good, you came to the thread unsure and I don't think you will magically lose the issues you perceive with the piece. Since it's Ann I assume that would be a lot of money to spend on something you kinda really like. just my 2c

shdws, if I may contribute to this discussion, the jacket doesn't fit. I have found that the only reason why a jacket should cover your fingers is in the case of a jacket with gloved sleeves/cuffs. In your case, I would exchange it while it is still possible.

Ann leather is not great IMHO. cropped length + boxy shape + long sleeves = weird silhouette. You can do a lot better.
