right now i use dr. scholl's gel insoles. they're pretty comfy, but they leave this annoying sticky goo behind on my shoes, so i'm looking to try some new options.
(apologies if this has already been discussed somewhere)

dr scholl's also makes a "back pain support" pair I think they are called work soles. They have a different contour, which works well for my feet, but I first picked them since they do not have that sticky gel bottom. They are also not super thick. I would highly recommend those, best I've tried.

i've had a similar problem! i want a paper thin insole that feels really comfortable. on certain shoes i'd just rip out the insoles and replace them with old skate insoles because they're so comfortable and thin. any suggestions?

Again, Spenco. I think they're called "comfort...something".

IDK if this is the place to ask this but... does anyone know a good make//model fabric steamer?
I've found the "residential" models (Rowenta, etc.) are okay at best...not in the same realm as the professional stuff you'd find at a sewing machine store. Not cheap by any means, but maybe if you dig around craigslist you could find one.
