Although the LVR one is in goat, the Corner one is lamb... I wonder if these leather differences are somehow reflected in the price...

Does anyone know if MA+ and/or LUC actually use interface on their jackets/blazers or do they rely completely on the fabric itself for structure and stiffness?

for ma+, no interface. On some there is a lining fabric which lends some, but not much, structure. Exterior fabrics are generally more substantial and hold shape well, especially as they are cut so close to the body, and the armholes are so high.

Tailoring or otherwise modifying -- not a good idea?

Hello, I recently acquired a new Rick Owens SS12 Blazer (Knife, I believe) via a flash sale. It is my first Rick Owens piece, so I gambled a bit on the size, going with a 52 (which was one of the only sizes left, anyhow.)

It's safe to say that the blazer is a bit too snug, but I'm actually having trouble determining if it would fit were I to loose a little bit of weight, or if it's simply too narrow for my actual shoulder width (I am unable to lift my arms out in front without the arm holes pulling on my biceps. The fabric is not flexible so my arms stop at the risk of tearing a seam.)

That said, my question is generally about tailoring or modifying designer items. I am just entering into this level of clothing, and am wondering if I should ever refrain from alterations in order to consider resale later on.

Does any sort of alteration / tailoring completely ruin my chances of selling a piece later on?

What is the difference between the Bauhaus in lamb, goat (previously linked), and calf (here)? The pictures of the lamb all make it look really thin and "crinkly". I don't know much about goat or calf.

are any current designers making basics in fabrics similar to older damir doma? the really gauze-y airy lightweight materials with the raw cut collars. i keep looking on yoox in hope they will pop up but it doesnt look like they'll pop up any time soon..
