I know it's possible to just get any pair and have them tapered, but I rather get one as close as possible to 6" without having to have them altered.

Just to chime in on the Guidi bags bleeding issue. I have had my reverse m10 for a year and the bleeding is as strong as on day one. My fingernails end up black every time I use it. Had not thought about purposefully rubbing it with a t shirt, but will try that. By the way, the patina that the reverse leather develops with use is quite nice.

I cant really decide on getting the 796Z: http://pnp-firenze.com/wp/product/gu...ble-heel-sole/ or the 986: http://archivesf.com/collections/gui...soft-horse-986
I prefer the one thats shorter. the 796Z is the shorter one right?

a1923 lace up boots sizing
What is the best size of a1923 lace up boots for a 10.5?
43 or 44? I've read this lace up model fits true to size.
Size 43 fits, but the upturned toe hurts somewhat. I wonder if it's a matter of wearing it a while or sizing up. Unfortunately I don't have a pair in 44 to try on.
Many thanks for any advice.

thanks for the guidi bag talk, sounds like it bleeds bad but I'm probably still gonna get it hah now to decide which leather.
drips kinda varies, best to ask for measurements from wherever you getting it from. ima true 43 and i have worn size 8 and 9. both fitting well with insoles.

if your toes have no room length wise, they are too small. tightness can be resolved either by wearing or stretching them. I had to use a stretcher on my A1923 laced boots because they were tight both on top of the foot as well as the toes. worked fine and they are comfortable now."AVANT GUARDE HIGHEST FASHION.
