CCP Folded Belt

I'll move this here then :

I'm considering purchasing a folded belt, but mildly concerned about the folds/joints lending to a shorter life expectancy. I've never handled one (do own a classic), but it seems fair to assume that a fair amount of integrity is lost, as it appears to be slit/notched at each fold/joint.


So, any testimonials from owners that have worn one for a period of time?

^Generally p11 is strait leg chino style, p13 is more jean style with curved legs, and p14 has jean back pockets and chino front pockets with curved legs and some different patterning/detailing than p13.

I have been contemplating getting a pair of these http://www.ln-cc.com/en/men/shoes-1/...oomed&start=30 Fauvel derbys. I really like the fact that they look like a pair of laced loafers. Since they are quite pricey, I was just wondering if anyone here has handled their shoes? I was hoping to get a decent quality-shoe for that price.

Differences: front and back pockets, darted high thighs on the p13, curved legs on the p13, centered dart on the front calves (?) on the p11, "L-shaped" butt on the p11, "v-construction" butt on the p13, angular fly on the p13 vs. a straighter fly on the p11 (I obviously know nothing about garment terms so please feel free to correct me ;))

Dear good sirs of SZ, I need help with a pair of MA+ staple boots, these boots don't seem to be lined, I can't seem to find another pair that is unlined for comparison.

I want to know, anyone has experience with reversed unlined ma+ shoes? how does unlined reverse calf hold up? Are they as durable as regular lined leather?

yes i have had m.a+ unlined reverse calf. the leather quality is excellent. wear without fear. if you want you can use a shoe tree to limit creasing or cracking but its not likely to be a problem.

I had a pair of M.A+ unlined bison. Many are this way. Very nice.
