All this talk about destroyed soles and rusty staples is making me afraid of wearing my new RO trainers too much.

Is the durability situation any different with the new-style trainers from AW10 (the ones with the shorter tongue)?

No matter you keep in brand new condition or worn it daily, staples turn rusty end up.

Since I have two pairs of the trainers (F/W 08, S/S 10) I can compare the "staples problem".

My F/W trainers are dirty and heavy used, but not rusty!

On the other hand I weared my S/S trainers 4-5 times (they got wet 1-2 times) and they show cleary visible, ugly rusty-yellow marks on a still clean sole... what looks not cool at all.

i honestly can't tell, but the shape looks clunkier and lower, but i highly doubt someone would sell those if they were not real (since they are beat as fuck)

It's an old model with wool-fabric lining it was in fact clunkier and a bit different.

regretting selling my old pair... someone sell me a 44! i love these one year, hate them the next.
