I would say yes too. The photos look the same in every single detail so it's probably the same photo with photoshop on it. But i don't mind that. They still got the black version. They were just bored of taking new photos!!

yea, I placed the images on top of each other, its the same picture, with the jacket area colourized. the problem I see with this is if the tone or texture of the black one happens to be different.

I know it sounds silly (it is internet shopping afterall), but the tone and appearance of leather can give a pretty good indication of what it will feel like, and how it will sit when worn. It is unlikely that the leather used for the brown and black will handle exactly the same, so its a shame that they would go to the length to photoshop, but not photograph the black version.

It's a nice jacket too.

Edit: the hammered lamb is prime example. It feels like it looks.

Was actually thinking the opposite. The brown one is the original photograph, while the black is perhaps just a black and white photo of the brown jacket? Dunno. Seems silly not to photograph both at these prices.

as you can see, the models face is in colour, so they simply colourized the jacket.

I think he's right. It's quite easy to isolate an area in photoshop in seconds, so it looks like they've just desaturated (made greyscale) the brown jacket area and left everything else in colour.

yea thats what I was saying, I meant "colorizing" as in adjusting the hue and saturation (0 saturation = greyscale), not coloring it in

hence why I said that it would be a problem if the black jacket in reality is different that the photoshopped black.
