I hope they made a mistake, how could it be possible otherwise to sell such a tiny size in european countries ?
Well, I was exaggerating of course :-) - lieutenant dan's estimate is the right one. YOOX is a pretty poor website - they deal with a lot of stuff and don't have the expertise to cover it all. The V-A, until last year, was a purely Japanese oriented company - therefore the cuts were tiny. I mean Atelier couldn't sell it, so that tells you something. They've loosed up a little in the past two seasons after the repeated requests of their overseas clients.

Yeah Chant, considering you're in Europe, lieutenant dan is right.
Should have specified I was talking about a Japanese XS/S/M/L.

I'm sure you could return them or even sell them here (once you hit 50 posts).

            viridi sizing varies a lot

from earlier season i have had pieces for which II=44

later on II=standard 46 or even slim 48=julius size 2

Thanks to Faust, lieutenant dan, Avanster and Random.
You guys were right. The jacket is beautiful, but the soulder to shoulder measurement is 40 cms (15.74 in), so is shoud be an IT 44.

                Experience

                Need some input with Japanese shoe sizes...I am typically a 8.5-9 UK, 42 - 43 Euro and 9-10 US. What's a 28 Japan equate to...more like a 10 US or more like a 44 Euro??

I know it's dependent on shoe type and athletic vs. lace-up vs. boot...still, would like some insight.

Trying to buy an size medium Anne D blazer from the classifieds. I really like how it looks but I am worried it may be too small for my true 38/48 size? Any help?

it will probably be too big. 48=ann d size s in most cases.

Thanks, it looks pretty slim in the fit pic, so I'll have to check that out again. Haven't I seen Faust wearing this or something similar?

This particular jacket runs a bit snug, and is meant to be so, but I think the Medium should fit a 48 well.

This site has been really helpful for a novice to these brands.

I guess I already know the answer to this one, but one can never be too sure..

How's the sizing on the R.O. tanks this fall (viscose/silk)?

                                Thanks.
