I'd go a size down. I'm a 34 usually but got mine in sz 33 and they stretched out to be just right.

Julius Leather

Thanks for weighing in, danimal. Anyone else care to offer a confirmation?

My chest is ~48 cm across and I just want to know that I'll be able to move my arms around without looking like John McCain.

ok, so I'm relatively certain that I'll be buying the Julius leather jacket below. I have a few Julius tops in size 2, not sure how the sizing on the leathers compares though. I'm generally on the smaller side of a Medium -- in between a 46 / 48.

It'll be my first leather and I want to make sure I get a good fit. I don't think this is actually in stock anywhere yet so I haven't been able to find exact measurements. Any advice on the sizing would be much appreciated.

I'm between a 44 / 46 and Julius leather in a 1 fits me like a glove, so I think you'd be a 2.

The regular tops seem pretty short, I just posted a picture in waywt with one underneath a shirt, but you can basically see where it comes to and I am only 5'9.

That shirt fits you great man. I think sz 3, i messed up the measurement on my chest a bit..maybe like a 36-37

Does anyone know what the Carpe Diem sizing would be like on a leather jacket/shirt? I'm a true 38/48 who likes things pretty slim. Should I be looking at a size 3 or 4 in old Carpe Diem stuff?

I'd say a 3, I'm usually a 50 and a size 4 fits pretty much perfect. Then again, Carpe sizing is not very consistant.
