does anyone know where I could find a shirt with a collar* like bertrand russell's? thanks.
*would this be described as a narrow, high, and fairly square club collar?

they're collar inserts? i forget what they're technically called, i watched a documentary on lagerfeld and he has drawers and drawers full of starched and pressed collars. he's fairly famous for wearing them constantly, someone more familiar with traditional menswear would be able to give you an exact name for these things

I had a friend of mine who was a huge fan of those, bespoke is the key here, he couldn't find such a style anywhere so he visited a tailor (a respected Greek one). Let me know if you are luckier than him.
Yeah, will probably have to go bespoke. I'm on the fence about the bertrand russell style shirt, but fairly certain that I will end up getting a cocktail cuff shirt in a charcoal grey cotton-cashmere-silk fabric made. There's something rick owens about it (dandyish, but in a rough, masculine, sculptural way)... like what a brutalist architect would opt for if he felt like wearing french cuffs. Would also look good with a black grenadine or slub silk tie when one needs to wear a suit.
