I think you need to deconstruct your personal tastes a bit more, fellow. One doesn't really amass an avant-garde wardrobe of certain brands. Just as "indie" means hoodies and plaid, antlers and soft guitar, and not independent, "avant garde" doesn't mean black and brooding.

Keep working on your ideology, and not your closet fillins and you'll get there.

Indie (postmodern) Avant-Garde? It's definitely very postmodern, especially that friggin' Fender shirt that makes me look all of 13 again.

I like it, especially the top part. Drapery consisting of the tee and the scarf is really nice. I know RO blazers are meant to fit like that, but the broad shoulder concept isn't really a thing I like.

BUT I think the combats do not match. Honestly, I wouldn't know how to wear those at all. Maybe others can contribute on that?

i actually don't mind the scarf-blazer combo at all, but even if it is nicely cut the blazer looks like it could be a size too big? and what is that hanging down on the side - is that the scarf? whatever it is it needs to be draped differently. now it just reminds me of people who wear their pastel colored lacoste sweaters tied around their waist while sipping a glass of rosé.

those fire red _7s aren't necessarily something i'd add to an already pretty advanced get-up since they fight for attention with the scarf/hood thing, but i guess if it floats your boat...

big props for being generally gung-ho.
