Mainly posting this to show wire what I did with his Ann leather pants (altered to same cut as my Detroits). Excuse the mess, I have kids (yes, I do realise that the mess consists of 4 Rick jackets, 2 pairs of shoes and 1 scooter - easier to blame the kids)

I have a pair of 2007 Mads Norgaard leather trousers that look a lot like these.
If you hadn't mentioned it, I wouldn't have recognised them as a detroit cut. They look much more tapered to me; very roomy on the thighs.

I'm not big on either of the last two fits.

I don't like the Rick sneaks with the CCP coat. I do think the sneakers can work with a similar coat, but I think it needs to be a tad bigger and a bit less ridgid.

Pnod, I applaud the size of your egg basket. Takes some real balls to wear those sneakers. I also like the wrinkled suit. I will not, however, applaud the light coloured tie on black shirt (year 10 formal), nor the aviators.

glad to see you & een responding favourably - the jacket is completely reversible, with all of the seam work internalised. the dark grey side depicted in the photos is a nubby wool-linen material. the other side is a black wool-cotton. some more info on the jacket may be found here.
