Thanks for the recommendations, Lost & Found and Marvielab have caught my eye recently, especially Marvielab but havn't had the chance to handle any pieces. I'm definately trying to look more into Marvielab but their pieces are fairly hard to find.

raw - i suggest maybe taking a cue from wire.artist's style. i am not referring to straight yohji but rather to dressing to suit body type AND personal style and taste. i think i mentioned this before but there are loads of designers that play with silhouette, volume, proportion, etc that i think would suit u better than those that emphasize anatomical design and structure. try yohji, ann d, cdg, even lost&found and personally i'm gaining interest in marvielab (S+M+L) which i also think would be good for you...

You should advise people to stay away from Chicago as the weather is unbearable. And River is quite thin which I strongly feel works for him.

interest1, it's from a few seasons ago but still available ie. at H. Lorenzo, if you are interested. Obscur leather jackets just get better and better with wear, the leather sort of molds according to your figure, becoming like second skin. . .

Can't ask for any more than that. ;).We literally are in a second skin whenever we wear leather – off of one animal's back and onto that of another!

The true beauty with that Obscur, flux, is how easily it can toggle between high & low; looks just as right thrown over a vintage dress as it would your most trashed pair of jeans. And any piece you can just wad up & toss in your bag instead of having to baby it is even better! That kind of versatility can be difficult to find with leather.

Designers still looove trickin' out their skins with distracting zippers & flaps & snaps & all that craps. It's the quickest way to date an item. Once the novelty wears off, it usually ends up a 'final price drop' in Classifieds, lol..
I find that it's when you remove structure and decoration, that we end up with a piece that has no expiration date. I'd say you've definitely found yours..

^ i like this one alot , love how the ultra light top contrasts with the heavier lookin jacket and boots . its like its so light that its almost not necessary to wear but here it works like an accessory in the form of clothin
