Seenmy - Yes. I hadn't been planning to buy anything from Junya this season, but after seeing the pieces in person -- and their construction -- I changed my mind.

The dress is actually double-layered linen knit with the bottom hems attached as with a moebius strip to create a bubbling shape at the base. They impressed much more in person than on the runway...

Very nice fit Shucks. The texture of your pants look very similar the my RO silk pants, just a bit shinier. And from the sound of it they feel very similar. Mine are super light too, feels like I'm wearing nothing perfect for summer and super thin so perfect for tucking =). Just out of curiousity, how fragile is the fabric on yours? I'm always weary of putting things in my pockets as it feels like the pants are going to tear under weight. Recently, the seam also started to open up =/

actually they are kinda matte unless there is direct sun on. so far no tears or fraying - think the nylon helps. have had issues with pocket seams coming apart a bit on other pants, think it's the deep angle they are sewn on that stresses the thread.

However the shirt may have been a bit longer - unless the angle is to blame - and I would have gone for another pair of shoes, rounder at the toe. Yours don't seem substantial enough to match the volume of the lower part.

MDB, this dress looks beautiful ; I just regret not to have a whole view of it. I already did like this collection judgind by the pics only. I just will like it a bit more from now on, I assume.
