xadam> looks good to me, and the belt isn't eurotrash at all imo, seen it in person and it's a beautiful crafted piece. Proportion wise you are doing a nice job.
The belt is indeed beautifully crafted but I define eurotrash as being obnoxious, gaudy, overwrought. I mean it's 2 belt buckles. Why? It doesn't really perform a function and it's not exactly subtle. It just screams hey look I'm wearing 2 belt buckles just because I can in a similar way D2 screams look at my giant belt buckle.

I do agree that there is nothing wrong withwearing CCP head-to-toe. It definitely takes more thought than wearing Rick or n(n) head to toe but not asinteresting as mixing CCP with Rick or n(n).
mmmm I think and I like the fact that the double buckle is distorting the waist, playing with morphology. Not just a flashy and nonsensical item.
exactly - it's just the ticket to spice up a suit or a shirt/pant look that might otherwise be too conventional. and it's not exactly a double "G" buckle - it does not advertise what you are wearing - eurotrash does.

the belt is unique in a way that is definitely not as subtle as other ccp pieces, but this all costumery anyway.

god, i feel totally self conscious all of a sudden, lol.

this brings to mind a moment from my evening out with pnod, when some high-waisted-shorts-and-ballet-flats-wearing girl asked how he & i knew eachother. "we met through stylezeitgeist" he answered "a place on the internet where guys post photos of themselves and tell eachother how great they look."

the girl looked stunned for a moment, there was a pause.

          "thats awesome!" she finally managed.

          and then what happened?

xadam, i agree that this is fine, as well as the head to toe designer/artist/mystery man. but i also agree that the tshirt under the dress shirt has GOT to go. get some white tank tops to use as undershirts.one onlyneeds to think of those d-bags you see going clubbing with their Etrobutton-downs and the white tshirt underneath.

Thanks! They sell the FeS2 tees at Atelier... or they did. This was the first time I actually wore it. The shirt has little holes in it and is broken down with the screenprint graphic on the inside back which is a nice touch. Very soft, light and airy :)

Just a nice casual look for the 90 degree heat hehehe

I have an aweome FeS2 tee also. It is black with a white screen print on the outside and a pink screen print on the inside, V neck, little and holes. It is one of my favorite T's.

im sorry but just buying into a designer head to toe is easy and uncreative i have to admit i have done it before but not on purpose and i hate doing it, i have noticed a few peopl inparticular'' doing it on here, and if thats your thing then fair enough but im not preeching as if im the best dressed here but just a thought, anyone else's opinions

I don't care if he was wearing H&M, it looks good. I happen to be a fan of CCPs silhouette whether it's achieved by CCP garments or not.

Regarding the belt. This is the first time I've seen the belt worn and liked it. I think because he is wearing 'basic' garments, the belt works.

i love the harsher, more antagonistic new sz. after taking the pic, i debated for a while about posting it, i thought it was too boring in its ccp-business-casual vibe, but i wanted to show off the boots.

buying into a brand: generally, i think this term applies to someone who buys the current season of a designer because it's en vogue and then dumps it the next season for whatever's trendy that season. not applicable here, as ccp is a lifestyle.

for those who want to see my chest hair: flattered, but this isn't van nuys, and i'm not a 70's porn star.
