Re: What are you wearing today?

It's not that it doesn't have a practical purpose, I understand that clothes don't particularly have to have that. It's just that it looks like you're draped in a flag....I don't know, that's seems a little beyond my own ideas on how to put an outfit together. In the picture, there is nothing to distinguish it from a plain, squarepiece ofblack and white striped cloth, draped over your shoulders.I'm sure it's me though........[51]. You've got people drooling over it so what do I know

So everything beyond your ideas of how to put an outfit together is wrong?

Well, you can't really see it in the picture, but it has holes in it so you can put your head/arm whatever through it.

i'm actually surprised that people on here don't think that the full collar white tshirt under a dress shirt looks absolutely horrible.

I don't think so - provided the right tee under the right shirt.

i had some sleeveless shirts made just for this. they match to the seam of the sleeve perfectly so you dont really notice the shirt

baizilla, don't listen to Johnny - he's a closeted goth ninja! he got me thinking though about your picture as a new SZ front page image. If Albert does not mind that is.

Nope, don't believe I was saying that, quite the opposite in fact.I was just probing a little, for the reasons I mentioned, and thought I'd expressed clearly.

Re: What are you wearing today?

ah sorry.. should have elaborated a bit more i guess.

                          What I mean is...

while I certainly like looking at those pictures, I am rather concerned about the wearability on the streets itself. So it was more a hidden question in a way.

I don't care if that flag doesn't actually serve a purpose; if you skim through the last 10 pages of this thread you'll certainly find 10 details/items that are equallly "superfluous". However if that flag is being trashed aruond by the wind, i am not sure if I'd still like it. Of course, from a certain point of view this is also quite interesting - just like a wind chime the flag would be interacting with its surroundings.

and maybe it's just anoying cuz it will never hold in place *shrug*

now i am only guessing, but since you can actually see through the fabric, I just can't imagine it will stay put at all, and you'll be constantly fiddling about that flag

And through their parting lids there came and went
Keen glimpses of the inner firmament
