Does anyone find NYC subway scary at all? Most stations have dim light to no light at all, and the random beggers with no shoes on just gives me chill when I take NYC subway for the first time last xmas. My freind pretty much complain nonstop that he is putting his life in danger.

I been there last x'mas, and yes we were scared. My freind came from Hong Kong, and I came from Toronto. The fifth avenue station ceiling looks like it is going to fall off any moment. I guess the locals that got used to the environment wont find it scarey but for someone out of town it is pretty scary at first sight.

I think the pork buns are better at Ippudo over Momofuku as well. But the cold ramen Momofuku has been serving up lately is incredible.

I like NY Adorned. There are like 500,000 tattoo parlors in NYC.

As pointed out, NY Adorned has some great artist, specifically Chris O`Donnell. Another Great place is Invisible NYC ( on Orchard st., between Stanton and Rivington) Opened by Troy Denning, an artist at Adorned before opening his own shop/ art gallery.

They are a bunch of different Ramon's all over the city, and I'm not sure if they are related to one another. I would suggest bringing it to Chris French on 4th ave and 9th street. I bring everything there. Comme des Garcons uses Maurice Garment Care on University.

MonaDahl - Madame Paulette (2nd and 65th) is also very good.
