I just accidentally deleted my entire iphoto library. I want to kill myself. :(

No. I don't. I have some scattered on facebook/photobucket but there are some things that I just kept in iphoto that were pretty much irreplaceable. This is why I shouldn't operate technology while suffering from a sinus infection.

My girlfriend is a camera freak and lost her laptop which contained 8 years worth of photos. Like thousands of photos...yeah...it was hard trying to handle her. Spontaneously crying and stuff.

It was like the great depression compressed into one being.

Good news, somebody miraculously handed in her macbook...it's a great world .

^^ if it is freshly deleted, you can recover it as long as the space the pictures that occupied the part of the HD was not written over. using which reco software i'm not sure..

you guys really need to back up...
i've got time machine and a mirror backup of my drive on an eternal HD that i swap with another HD placed outside of my apartment. in case one of the two locations burn down..

Vanna, try googling in 'restore recover files' and you might find some things of use. I have heard of people getting back deleted items, but I'm not too adept in this area. Worth a look I think.

edit: Damn you endersgame, beat me to it. Haha, I have 3 HDDs that I alternate between. And yes, I heard that time machine is crazy good.
