Does anyone actually know the price for a chair?

About plywood. It's pretty easy to bend if you put it in water etc.

Not sure of the price but a good lot of Rick furniture is plywood made. I talked with one of the guys that does the construction of it at the paris store a number of times and he explained to me several pieces including the classic chair and the massive black sable covered day bed.

If you have a decent handle on woodwork and have the equipment to steam and bend plywood, it's completely doable.

yea its definately doable, I think the corners are the hardest part as they are sort of 3 dimensional. I've only bent straight pieces and it definately takes some time to get perfect angles. though, the chair I've seen in person had certain parts made out of fibreglass, the rest from plywood.

tried these on today, gonna have to past. shits hard to put on/button/configure and just looks odd when opened up.definately not something you can throw on, on the go. too many movin parts. and feels cheap and fragile,maybe because of the nylon.oh well to each is own.

Ha, I disagree somewhat. Definitely hard to put on but I keep finding new ways to wear it. You can definitely throw it on and just wear it open, looks like you have wings.
And don't think it feels cheap. I still would love to see this in a warmer cotton etc material, but I am really happy with it on Day 1.
Absolutely not fit for London weather at the moment tho...

Edit: BTW, looks like it sold out at oki-ni already.

saw some dude wearing this jacket just like this although it stuck out a little more in the chest. i looked closely and realized his two year was attached to the inside of it
