AW08/09 Main Line & Drkshdw Stuff

Pricing on the leather & wool jackets is the best of seen so far, quite a lot of nice pieces, cheaper than LVR even with a proxy.

The Drkshdw jackets look awesome

The above DRKSHDW jacket for F/W 08.09 is a rehash of season past, no? I bought that jacket for my wife a little while back, only the sleeves are solid. Definitely a beautiful piece.

Have any of the ladies on the forum tried/seen this piece in person? Just did some measuring on my girlfriend and the chest on the size Small (based on the white corduroy version of this posted on the same site) seems damn large at 49 cm! The shoulder width of 36 cm is okay though... she is a size 0-2 as a reference...

Just a quick question about the crepe soles on Rick's combat boots...

1. Are they durable?

2. Can the sole be easily replaced with another type?

I walk like a mongoloid so I noticed the heel wearing right away when I wore mine, like any other shoes I wear just quicker. The leather is quite soft like any crepe sole so it does get torn up with wear.

I asked a cobbler and he said it should be easy to take off the crepe and attach a regular boot sole if need be.
