when the cut is precisely the same, stitching is similar, zipper placement is the same and even the leather grain looks almost identical.. I wouldn't only blame this on "all shoes look alike".

Augusta sizing
Anyone know about how Augusta size 9's fit this season. Do they fit large or small. I normally wear a CCP size 10, and am interested in a shoe at A, but it is a 9, and I cannot determine whether it will fit my size 11 foot? It might, but I have no reference here in LA?

They have an european estimate for the SS09 models.
They're all a bit different in size depending on toe shape and such.
Would say myself that most of their size 9 fits an european 43-44.
If the toe is "pointed" they are generally bigger/longer.
Which particular model are you interested in?
Think that a CCP 10 is considerably bigger than an Augusta 9 though.Last edited by Trebre; 06-18-2009, 02:04 AM.

They got a new, introduced i think FW08 with a rounder toebox.
Imo the curve on that model isn't as pronounced as in the pointier ones.
A:s website has pics of the lace up with canvas and leather.
That's the more rounded toe.
And also the curve straightens quite a bit with a little wear.
They can look... clowny when new.
The brown stripey high lace up with an "overlapping" ankle part is more pointy but not as pointy as the lace ups from earlier seasons.
Complicated
I'd say if buying Augustas, go for lace ups.
If wanting derbys or side zip boots go CCP.
They're in the same price range anyway.

^That one's SS08... Think they stopped with that square tag at the bottom lace after SS08.
haven't tried those on, but sizing for that season is fucked up.
Got 2 pairs size 8 from that season and they are totally different.
Very very nice leather treatment that season and those are much "pointier" than they look. On that pic they look bulky but are quite sleek irl.
That's the best i can do.
Have seen no fit pics of that particular model.
Your pics from A, so just call em and ask?
Also Lazzari have some more pics of derbys, but not same season.
Good luck.
