His American sourced cordovan is awesome and he worked it in such a different way than a well know maker who is known to use the same exclusive provider.

if there is one contribution the US can boast, it is for producing the best cordovan around.

It is my understanding that Horween is the only remaining tannery producing cordovan leathers in the USA.

wondering where church's get their cordovan from if that is so

^Afaik they are also using Horween leather as well as Allen Edmonds, Crockett & Jones etc.. Another but smaller cordovan tannery is Carminia in France.
