^^^ Because it's the über cool new-wave-ie alternative to goth ninja... Ninja's need matte to hide... Synth-poppers like to shine and pop from their surroundings. Or at least that's my explanation.

individual pieces in real life always has alot of ideas going on, and doesn't need additional styling. this is way too busy and overstyled, but that was never their strength anyway. i love the internal complexity of each garment.

I have this cardigan, and have been wearing it constantly since i bought it 2 years ago, and it isn't even remotely close to pilling. it's amazing. looks exactly like it did when it was brand new. the shape is totally crooked and twists, and one sleeve is wider than the other. the syncopation in it is something else.

the new collection is probably going to be a bit different since they've changed designer. Don't know if this is for the better or the worse, guess time will show.
