there's tons of this trap shit now and inevitably some of it will be alright because its channelling 90's memphis rap which is pretty slick or i guess ODB. i like some of the asap stuff, if he wants to name drop some Belgian designers whatever it does not have a lot to do with the music. some of the stuff along the same tune like spaceghostpurrp and lil ugly mane actually make some pretty solid junts.

i dunno, it's all over the place but it's not really genre specific. it may not be the creative achievement of kendrick lamar's but it's way more fun to listen to. clams casino beats are pretty awesome.

I find very strange actually the rage against this thread. Wouldn't it be interesting to understand why rappers are going Rick Owens, and not CCP or DD , for example ? Because there are only two possibilities : either there's a connection between their music/lifestyle/Weltanschauung, etc. and what RO does, or they're just brainless and choose their designers without any reason. This thread is definitely imo a sign of the Zeitgeist and shouldn't be despised that easily. And it says a lot about RO.
