Thanks for the link joey, I'll defintilely keep an eye on that.

edit: didn't realize this was a 3 button. I feel like 3 buttons always make my torso look shorter, which I generally try to avoid, only being 5'9 or so.

and these pics were " stolen" from the LUC thread right here on SZ. OP was coldrice so he gets credit for finding them originally. They may be from a previous edition of JCreport...

cosign on mcqueen, i still want one from last spring (i think)! the luc blazer doesn't really fit your description (in my mind at least - oh you wrote that yourself) - i had one for sale awhile ago! :)

It may be blasphemy but Dior blazers (at least when I last tried them on 3-4 seasons ago) are damn near perfect. The construction and design make them sharp sharp sharp! With the popularity of the brand, you can get one on ebay now for $600 with a bit of luck and patience.

As for those LUC pants, gutpocho is selling a while pair for dirt cheap!

That's true. Dior suits are gold. Not sure if they went down in quality with the rest of the line, but they were definitely well-executed.

(i finally triedthe jacketon at fred segal, in almond, and i fucking love it. now, i just have to finda black one, in XS. and also, decide if i want to pay+/-$900 for it.

Cassius: If I were you I'd check Y! Japan often for the U-pants. BTW I love how they look on display but they're not that interesting when worn IMHO[:'(]

i'm feeling that rick owens jacket as well.

i'll have to agree with fuuma about the u-pants. look quite interesting when unworn, but on the body, nothing special.

my big wish is a pair of cdiem leather boots, and a whatever nice sweaters (LUC, yohji, etc...) pieces i can get my hands on for a relatively decent price. oh, and non black pants.

I definitely agree with you all about the pants, I am going to try and check some out and then go and make my own. The general silhouette doesn't look too hard to re-create.

I have to say I don't really get the appeal of Jas MB. If I was in the market for a traditional-meets-modern English bag, I'd go for Ally Capellino over Jas any day.

That Ann d jacket I saw the leather version at Barneys, that photo doesn't seem like leather, one of the best pieces I've seen this season irl. Anyways my wish list is not fashion related.

Good call on Ally Capellino dbc - i have the bag that you posted pic of, but in the satchel version, and love it.
