You go to audio forums, learn about alternatives and what you can get for cheaper that does the exact same thing than show her this link, say you need this in your life but found one at say $700 that would satisfy your needs and voila, you justSAVED $500 for the family.

I don't suggest to lie, just to present is as 1)This is what I wanted and its $1200 2)I found this which also fulfills our needs and its $700. See I'm into it but I'm not going in blindly and I have the family's finances in mind.

Those are probably my favorite Ann shoes, for whatever reason. I have yet to see a pair turn up in a US size 7.5 - 8 / 40.
