i wish you were joking. everything is a dead give away. the price, the location, and oh yes, the shoes look fake. how can you even think these are real. look at the typeface used on the box.

Size on Damir Doma sweater.



Heh, sorry for asking this everywhere, but I would hate to get the wrong sizeing.

Anyone who got the Scarf Hoodie and could help me in any direction towards which size I should have? Seven said it was .5-1 size larger and pipe here on the forum told me it was really big. I usually wears stuff a little large, but I don't want this to be to loose, but I also don't want the shoulders to be to small cause I got pretty wide ones. >_<

Small question (and one not pertinent to the season): Why do some designers use blends of artificial fabrics in their (expensive) sweaters? Is it just a shortcut? A lot of Raf sweaters are artificial blends, I think.



I've seen some nice sweaters with a bit of elastane. Other than that, though, I don't think I've ever seen an acrylic- or polyester- blend with a hand that feels particularly nice to me. It usually seems like those artificial fabrics are used to give the wool a 'lofty' feel, probably without having to pay the cost of a really good quality wool.

honestly, there is no straight answer to that, real real. not all polyester is bad, just ask rei - she prides herself on polyester. same goes for rayon, a lot of it is shit, but look at the stuff yohji uses. again, look at cheap silk, and the one ann demeulemeester uses - there is a world of difference. robert pirsig once wrote something interesting that has resonated with me - the reason we think that plastics are awful is because since childhood we've been conditioned by junky plastic toys, which morph into junky consumer products for adults, but there is nothing intrinsically wrong with plastic. i think you'll just have to judge for yourself on how the fabric looks and feels.
