i'm honestly a little surprised there seems to be so many fake iterations of such a niche brand like bbs....

i suppose the market is there; especially with bbs' astronomical prices

There are MA+ fakes for sure, I got one. And was scared as hell to get another one but the last one I bought was legit luckily.
On the other side, I never saw any carpe, L'Maltieri, etc. fakes. As Zam said, I can't imagine people faking the kind of insane knitting L'Maltieri does.
And for BBS, let's say I would always send 550BC a message before buying a piece

The basic shirts were faked, as were the cross front long sleeves.

Front cross-stiched tee. The issue is that there are a variety of legit front cross-stiched tees with different materials/composition. Best way to avoid it is to buy directly from a shop imo.

I find it mind-blowing that large clothing "designers" have no qualms in taking part either. I know this by a direct personal experience as I make jewelry (a hobby, but do sell in a few boutiques in the US) and I've been blatantly ripped off by the company Free People. Honestly, when I received the call I thought it was likely just a really similar piece, but it wasn't. It was a cheaply made replicate.
A friend of mine was ripped off by Urban and they didn't even create their own version of his work. They simply put his designs on their own clothing.

I know this isn't exactly the same as we're discussing fakes by specific brands, but it does go to show that no matter how big or small the gain is, profit is profit. Taking money from a small designer is fine.

              identify this brand

              hello. im new here.
can anyone please identify this brand->

it is the only tag, it is on the nape. it says 'designed in new york tokyo london'
the girl in the shop said it is a one-off, along with a few other pieces from the same make
(its like a cloak with a hood and sleeves; grey outside and black lining)

just got a pair of the julius siva sneakers... any idea if i should look out for any issues with quality?

also, i'd say 160 is a fair price to pay for them, mint with the box. any idea what i should be asking if they don't end up fitting me?

You should post a pic of the actual piece. The tag is absolutely awful.

How is the quality of the brands Lien and N/07? Both can be found at Gullam, who also stocks Devoa. I'm only mentioning this because they seem to all have a similar ethos, so are Lien and N/07 actually good or are they just derivatives? Any sizing info?

Lien has some pretty awesome footwear, I can't say much about the clothing though.

What brands produced wide opening pants other than Yohji/similar things to that? I'm looking for options before I pick up this marvielab piece.

                          How do you size them?

This N/07 stuff looks a bit ... dare i say it... derivative.
                              Suede is too Gucci.

Yeah, you're right. Lien looks pretty derivative too, to some extent. Though arguably you can't be derivative on "anatomical design." Not everything looks straight out of Devoa though, but this might be some CCP:A1923 relationship going on.

Good to know. Maybe I'll try a pair in 41 then, since I'm 8.5.
