I saw those boots a while ago and they are really nice and well made. They slightly remind me of Judge Dredd's boots, but much more refined and dandified - Ann's elegant take on classic motorbike boots.

I have never really been able to get behind the vast majority of velcro sneakers.

Fair, particularly if you're not a sneaker guy to begin with; those look to me about as boot-like in appearance as a velcro sneak is going to get without venturing into "ungodly hybrid" territory.

Less clothing purchases and more unique items:




200 year old Tibetan Kapala prayer beads made of eagle bone and hand carved into small skulls. They're translucent/yellowed from years and years of hand rubbing and use and they've absorbed the oils from the hands. 108 beads exactly.




1950's multi-ring heavy silver chain, wrapped to be worn as a bracelet.

Have also purchased some incredible artisanal fabrics. Hand twisted fibers that are hand woven on looms and then hand dyed. All fabrics made in single tiny batches (5-25 yards of it and thats all). Purchased a mindblowing heavy wool/hemp blend and two tones of dense raw silk.

Also picked up a few beautiful hides from Libra for a personal high collar leather jacket (to be lined in the raw silk).
