I don't understand the interest in spending between 200 and 300 euros in a pair of shoes like that. Better spare 100 euros more, wait a bit, and cross your fingers for a real opportunity.

Moma boots on yoox are even cheaper than those, and some of their models make the job honestly.

Does anyone know how to get those ? I think I just found the perfect boots for me.

How did I know you would like the shape of those. Haven't handled them IRL so I can't comment on the quality though. You will probably need a proxy to contact their store (link here).

Trickers also make some but only for the Japanese market [1 2].

let us raise a toast to ancient cotton, rotten voile, gloomy silk, slick carf, decayed goat, inflamed ram, sooty nelton, stifling silk, lazy sheep, bone-dry broad & skinny baffalo.

            Thanks B. !

The trickers x victim boots look even better. More expensive too, unfortunately.
I won't spare much this year. Again.

(That's what the victim is for, I suppose.)

Hmm, I think I may have found my next boots:

Grensons, £180 (but I expect I'll find them discounted somewhere...)

make it 3 of us I guess. I saw these in the Aoyama store in November and they knocked me back, absolutely gorgeous. The shade of black is amazing in person. Didn't try them on, so I don't know about comfort, but both the leather and construction were quality as far as I could tell.

Got a pair of trickers monkey boots and the quality is great, great, great. They only get better with age, especially the leather upper looks splendid when polished. My pair has a rubber sole though ....

May I ask where you got them? I've Googled around but to no avail.

Yes, sure. I bought them off SuFu from a guy based in the UK. I don't think he provided me details of their origin, but when shopping for other Trickers, I asked Richard from the UK shop "Shoe Healer" about the shoes' origin and based of the markings inside the shoe, he told me that my monkey boots were indeed made for the Japanese market. Richard also sells Trickers MtM shoes, see his web site for examples of these. I bet he will also be able to tell if the monkey boots are currently available through his shop, or available at all. The most helpful guy, him.

Thank-you very much! I've just had a nose around the site and they have some good stuff.

                                Hi!

The infamous raf zipper boots, do they run big or small in the size?

I'm a 43.5-44 usally in boots, and these are in size 43-

                                what do you guys think?
