The back zip is very convenient - I'm wearing a pair of boots with that feature right now.
Also, the Miu Miu boots I got look very much like that reverse goatskin you posted. How timely!

I like the Ann Dem. booties, they're simple and understated. Before you order them at full price from Aloha Rag, give Mona Moore a call. I remember that they had a couple of pairs left from last fall (same model) on sale a 50% off (around $400 Canadian). Check them out at www.monamoore.com.

About the Mona Moore, I talked to them about a month ago and they are no longer carrying mens shoes. I have no idea if they still have the unsold stock (The Ann D. booties you were talking about), but they are no longer displaying them.

I have two boots with zippers in the back. Super convenient but I would suggest to walk in them a good 5-10 minutes and also uphill before purchasing. You wanna make sure the back zipper doesn't chafe with your ankle, especially if they have high-boots, because the flexibility of your lower leg will be limited.

Yeah, Mona Moore dropped men's footwear (didn't sell), but they have a couple of pairs left. I don't know what size you are Buckwheat, but I just went by today and they've got a pair of Ann D. booties in a size 40 (Faust might be interested :P ) and a pair of slouchy boots from spring 2005 in a 42.5 left. The booties are $447.50 on sale, and the slouchy boots $595, prices in Canadian dollars.
